James Benedict Cañares won the Cebu Open 2008 with an average of 15.66 seconds. Chia-Wei Lu finished second 15.99 seconds and Moon Bum-Seok finished third 16.79 seconds. The first ever speedcubing competition in the heart of the south. Finally speedcubing has already reaching out to new grounds and now its the south and beyond.
